MALIKI ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY– The Khitobah Division of UPKM JDFI UIN Malang took part in the Vibrant Ramadhan Syarhil Qur'an activities organized by the UKM Al-Qur'an Study Club (ASC) of the State University of Malang on Tuesday, March 10 2026 at the Al-Hikmah Mosque, Floor 1, State University of Malang. This activity is a momentum for young preachers to strengthen their da'wah abilities while enlivening the holy month of Ramadan through the syarhil of the Qur'an.
This event presented Ustadz M. Shoniful Hadi as the main speaker, who is known as the Top 6 Finalist of AKSI Indosiar 2022. In his presentation, he emphasized the importance of collaboration between young preachers in conveying the messages of the Koran to the public in a relevant and communicative way.
After the opening, the event continued with the appearance of preachers from various representatives of UKM and student da'wah communities who presented the Qur'anic syarhil with various delivery styles. In this activity, Co Division Khitobah Naufal Wahib was also present to provide support and encouragement to the participants who appeared. Each performance conveys Islamic messages originating from the Koran and packaged through attractive preaching rhetoric, showing the great potential of the young generation in conveying Islamic values creatively.
After all the performances were finished, Ustadz M. Shoniful Hadi gave a feedback session for approximately 15 minutes to the participants. He appreciated the courage and creativity of young preachers in conveying da'wah, as well as providing some input regarding rhetorical techniques, strengthening messages, and the importance of building interaction with the audience.
He emphasized that a preacher must be able to understand the condition of the audience when preaching. According to him, not all audiences always focus on listening, so a preacher needs to have an alternative strategy in conveying the message.
"A preacher must be smart in understanding the audience. When someone starts to feel sleepy, sleep, or even talk to themselves, we must have a way to deal with it. In other words, we must have a plan B, even a plan C so that the audience can refocus," he explained.
Through the Semarak Ramadhan Syarhil Qur'an activity, it is hoped that it can foster a spirit of da'wah among students and strengthen collaboration between campus da'wah communities in spreading the values of the Qur'an in society.
