Actions of Young Doctors from FKIK UIN Malang in maintaining the Health of Homecomers in Batu City

MALIKI ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY - In order to support the smooth flow of Eid homecoming, Young Doctors of FKIK UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang carry out inspection activities health for travelers in the Batu City area, especially in the area around the Karsa Husada Batu Regional Hospital.

This activity focuses on checking vital signs, health consultations, and educating travelers regarding preventing fatigue, dehydration and health problems during long journeys. Public enthusiasm seems high because this service provides access to health checks quickly, easily and at no cost.

Activity coordinator, dr. Abdul Malik Setiawan, M.Infect.Dis., PhD. said that this activity is part of the active role of medical education institutions under the Ministry of Religion in supporting the smooth flow of homecoming.
"This activity is not only aimed at maintaining the health of homecoming travelers, but is also a means of contextual learning for young doctors in dealing with field cases directly, especially in situations with high community mobility such as Eid homecoming," he said.

Furthermore, he added that the presence of young doctors at strategic points is expected to help early detection of health problems and prevent more serious conditions during the trip.

Through this activity, the Young Doctors of FKIK UIN Malang demonstrated their commitment to integrating clinical competence, empathy and professionalism, while contributing to creating a safe, healthy and comfortable homecoming journey for the community.
