PR-UIN MLANG
Malang, 30 March 2026 — Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FITK) Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University (UIN) Malang officially released 38 students to take part in internship programs in Malaysia from various departments. This release activity was held on Monday, March 30 2026, at the front of the Micro Teaching building, UIN Malang campus.
The event was attended by the Deputy Chancellor III for Student Affairs, Prof. Triyo Supriyatno, M.Ag., Dean of FITK, Prof. Muhammad Walid, M.A., as well as the heads of study programs within FITK. The presence of these leaders is a form of full support for developing student competencies through international experience.
In his speech, Vice Chancellor III conveyed a message from the chancellor that this international internship program is a strategic step in improving the quality of students, both in terms of academics and practical skills in the global world of work. He also advised students to maintain their intentions and the good name of their alma mater while carrying out programs abroad, they must behave in an adaptive manner which we translate as (rahmatanlilaalmin) which has become the hallmark of Uin Malang which is Ulul albab
Meanwhile, the Dean of FITK informed that it had been running for 15 years and emphasized the importance of utilizing this opportunity as a place for direct learning in different educational environments. He hopes that students can absorb as much experience as possible and can have an impact on the institution again by bringing innovation and new insights to be developed in Indonesia.
While in Malaysia, participants will be placed in a number of educational institutions and partner institutions that have collaborated with UIN Malang.
The release event closed with a joint prayer and technical direction to all participants. An atmosphere of emotion and pride seemed to accompany this moment, as the beginning of the students' journey in carrying out valuable experiences in the international arena.
